- ● In 2016: Department organized National seminar. The main theme of the seminar was Current Trends in plant and Microbial Research2016 sponsored by Govt. of West Bengal where Professors and Research Scholars from different Colleges and Universities attended and presented their research works.
- ● In 2017: Department organized National seminar-Current Trends in plant and Microbial Research2017 sponsored by Govt. of West Bengal where Dr. Subrata K. Das, Scientist, ILS, Bhubaneswar and Prof. TC Ghosh, Bose Institute, Kolkata both were key note speakers.
- ● In 2018: Department organized J.C. Bose memorial lecture.
